Perch Café and Restaurant is situated just past the village sign for Balmaha, next to Loch Lomond Waterfront Lodges.

The local area of Balmaha and Loch Lomond has an abundance of walks and outdoor activities to enjoy. Pop in after climbing the Conic Hill or the more ambitious Ben Lomond – we’re sure you’ve earned a cake or two!

On the West Highland Way

We are conveniently located on the West Highland Way so you can come and perch at the end of your first day and perk yourself up. If you’re staying in one of the local B&Bs, speak to us about our packed lunches, made fresh, ready for you to take away.

From the Conic

After descending from the Conic, instead of heading back to the Balmaha Carpark straight away, take a left turn when you reach the forestry track and then head down the hill to the main road. You’ll see us just 50m to the left.

From Balmaha carpark

We are a short 150m walk from the carpark entrance along the foot path (back towards Drymen). Alternatively, a route preferred by our four legged friends is to head to the back of the carpark and amble through the forestry track and you’ll re-join the road again shortly before The Perch.

From Drymen

Great, you’re nearly here! Follow the signs to Balmaha and Rowardennan and after three miles you’ll reach the start of Balmaha. We are situated on the left hand side, just after the village sign.
